Jonathan Schulz received first place for the ‘Best Poster and Presentation’ awarded by Prof. Mark Richardson for his poster titled ‘Nucleus basalis of Meynert degeneration precedes and predicts cognitive impairment in Parkinson’s disease’ at the ‘King’s College London Neuroscience Society Conference - Seeing is Believing: Advances in Neuroimaging’. Congratulations Jonathan!
Prof Marios Politis gave a talk titled "DAT, MIBG and PET Imaging in Parkinsonism" at the MDS-ES 8th Winter School for Young Neurologists. Attendees described it as "a great talk that really had something to say".

Dr Oliver Cousins and Mr Avinash Chandra gave talks on the clinical and imaging characteristics and of TREM2 risk carriers with Alzheimer's Disease and MCI. They also spoke about the correlations between amyloid and tau pathology and microglia using PET.
Dr Antonio Carotenuto presented two posters on [18F]florbetapir-PET/MR imaging to assess in vivo demyelination and the evaluation of the pathology with combined perfusion and diffusion MR imaging in Multiple Sclerosis at the ECTRIMS18.
The NIG team took part in the Enroll-HD Congress in Quebec with the CHDI Foundation on Huntington's Disease.
